JNUSU Election: General Body Meeting, Speeches were full of National and Global issues.

It is reported that the speech was heckled by opposition parties. When Satish Chandra Yadav (General Secretary candidate from United left ) was speaking the opposition Party ABVP was constantly sloganeering against left parties.

JNUSU Election is scheduled on 6th September and during election processes, a GBM (General Body Meeting) was conducted by the Election Commission of JNU. In the GBM Central Panelist Joint Secretaries, General Secretaries and Vice-Presidential Candidates of different parties have delivered their speeches. It is reported that the speech was heckled by opposition parties. When Satish Chandra Yadav (General Secretary candidate from United left ) was speaking the opposition Party ABVP was constantly sloganeering against left parties, the same thing was repeated by members of United left against ABVP. The GBM meeting also witnessed the verbal fight between BAPSA and ABVP. The BAPSA and ABVP General Secretary candidates, both belong to the Kerala region of India tried to give their speeches in Hindi, the BAPSA candidate remembered the former JNU student Najeeb and saluted the fighting spirit of his mother Fatima Nafees. On the other side, the ABVP candidate condemned the left politics on the campus and their pseudo-liberal attitude towards students.

Saket Moon is the vice-presidential candidate from left unity who spoke against the upper-caste politics in ABVP and criticized the RSS-led BJP government in the country. The Shruti Agnihotri from ABVP made a promise to students that if her party will win they are going to construct single girls hostel on the campus. The Risiraj from CRJD has spoken for OBC and marginalized section of the society and promised to bring 5% reservation for Physically challenged students in the campus. Most of the speech was given in Hindi language and the content of speeches was full of national and global issues.
