The JNUSU Election result is declared at Teflas (JNU) at 7 pm by Election Committee, though unofficial result was out on 8th September only, but it was waiting for the final notification as two students of JNU Abhik Chimni and Avinash Rathi filed the case to the state the facts about the validity of the JNUSU constitutional amendment. Maanav Kumar, Tara and Nupur representative of JNU EC has argued in the court that the facts stated by petitioners regarding the councilors is incorrect and has misled the court.
Like previous years Left Unity has swept all central panel posts Aishe Ghosh from SFI has elected as President, Saket Moon (DSF) elected as Vice-President, Satish Chandra Yadav (AISA) is General Secretary and Md. Danish (AISF) is Joint Secretary. ABVP stood second in all posts, BAPSA is just few votes behind the ABVP. NSUI has contested for President Post only in comparison to previous years NSUI has increased its votes. In the school of social sciences and the school of languages most of the left unity councilors has won the posts. With the result, we can decide the mood of JNU is that still it is left-oriented campus but we cannot ignore the rising votes for Ambedkarite organizations like BAPSA.
