Mumbai: Hindu-Muslim politics is not going to touch an end in India. A BJP leader Madhav Bhandari from Maharashtra has given a controversial statement on Sunday June 2. Citing a reference to the partition of India in 1947 on religion basis, he has said that Muslims were given their share in 1947.
Responding to AIMIM chief and member of Parliament from Hyderabad Asaduddin Owaisi’s recent statement ‘Muslims are not tenant in India’ Bhandari said “It would be good if Owaisi Sahab speaks feore due consideration. No one has called him a tenant. But if he talks about the share, it was given to them (Muslims) in 1947. Now the matter is over.” As quoted by ANI.
Addressing to the devotees at Macca Masjid on Friday, Owaisi had said that Muslims are not secondary in the country and they are not tenant in India. He had said that no one can take out the rights given to Muslims by the constitution.
He has said if Modi can visit temple, why can muslims not offer namaz? He was critically responded by minority affairs minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi. Now he has been responded by a BJP leader Bhandari.
Owaisi had said on Friday that Muslims are equal share holders in India. He had said that Muslims have to keep India prosperous, and they will keep, they are equal residents and not tenants.
He had also said that Muslims need not to be worried about Modi’s return in power.
Madhav Bhandari is vice chairman Rehabilitation Authority of Maharashtra and chief spokesperson of state in Maharashtra. Giving a befitting reply to Owaisi. Bhandari said to ANI “ Unhe soch Samajh ke bolna Chahiye, unko kisi ne kiraedar nahi kaha, lekin hisse dari ki bhasha bolenge to hissedari 1947 me de di to maamla khatam ho gaya.” (He should speak after consideration, no one called him a tenant, but if he utters language of share, then their share had been given to them in 1947. Now the matter is over.)
