Jalgaon: PM Narendra Modi addressed his first rally of Maharashtra assembly polls (October 21) in Jalgaon. On Sunday Prime Minister gave challenge to opposing parties Congress and NCP to bring back Article 370 and it should be mentioned in their election manifesto.
PM said that “Jammu and Kashmir was not a parcel of land, but the crown of India” he assured that it will not take more than 4 months to normalize the kind of situation that prevailed there for 40 years.
He blamed the opposition parties for politicizing the issue and aligned them with Pakistan for speaking the same language.
He attacked Congress and NCP and said that “It was unfortunate that they were politicizing the unprecedented decision of revoking article 370, their leaders thought exactly opposite of what whole nation thinking for Jammu and Kashmir.”
Prime Minister accused opposition leaders for shedding crocodile tears on scrapping article 370, he said “I challenge them, if they have guts, declare in their manifesto for state election and future polls too, that they will bring back Article 370 and 35 A, which the BJP government has revoked.”
He said if opposition parties will try to bring back Article 370, they won’t have any future in Indian politics. He also targeted oppositions for opposing the ban on triple talaq and said they didn’t want that our Muslim sisters should be given justice. He said the BJP government believes in preaching as well as converting preaching into actions.
