The series has a total of eight episodes as was in the first season and got released on midnight of 15th August 2019 with an exception of being released on Thursday marking a national holiday in the country.

The long anticipated second series of Sacred Games is out now and can be streamed on Netflix in India and across the world.

Sacred Games part 2 is directed by Anurag Kashyap and Neeraj Ghaywan. The second series begins where the first series left off including Saif Ali Khan playing the role of Sartaj Singh like the Mumbai policeman tries to oppose a powerful nuclear bombard that he unveiled during the end of the first series after being streamed by the gangster Ganesh Gaitonde (Nawazuddin Siddiqui).

New faces have been casted in the series including Kalki Koechlin (Margarita with a Straw) playing the role of Batya Abelman, an old-time devotee of Guruji (Pankaj Tripathi), who played a bigger role in part 2 post cameo display. Amruta Subhash (Gully Boy) connects with the cast and crew being a RAW agent Kusum Devi Yadav, in a character that has been gender-upturned from the book of Vikram Chandra on which the show is primarily based. Moreover, Ranvir Shorey (Khosla Ka Ghosla!) has played the role of Pakistani intelligence officer Shahid Khan. Sobhita Dhulipala (Made in heaven) and Harshita Gaur (Sadda Haq) have been displayed in a hidden role.

The series will prove a bang like the first one and will entertain its audience with lots of mysterious drama and unexpected turns unfolding as the story advances. So keep yourself free for some time and enjoy the unmatched don-like persona of Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
